You know. I even thought to myself that this gun was shrouded in lore moreso than any other in the game, and I thought I fully understood it. But after reading this post, I quite clearly did not, and I'm impressed by that fact. I would never have considered the reason for the eleventh round, and while I thought of the contained essence as being Oryx's soul, I would not have made the connection to the Worm, or the fact that feeding the Worm's hunger grants you the health regeneration.
