The worms just "adjusted" the hive from what they were but based upon some of the books of sorrow the worms sound like the ahamkara "o vengeance mine" to aurash. The worms are described as dead yet they speak. Do the exotic armour pieces of the ahakara variety not do somethig similar? [u] "Look at all this life o bearer mine, there is so much left to burn...."[/u] [u]"Reality is the finest flesh, oh bearer mine... and are you not hungry"[/u] Another thing is in the warlock grimoires there is one where a warlock begins bragging to a hunter about how it was impossible for them to kill an ahamkara but they did not know why they spoke like that they were holding a piece of a dead ahamkara when they did. All things point to the ahamkara being one of the most insidious manipulative beings to exist in destinys universe. Even when they die they just won't leave well enough alone :/
