Rosetta stone relies almost entirely on visual association of words;
If your not a visual thinker; its not the most effective. Perhaps try watching spanish programs with subtitles. Or just grab a dictionary---> just be sure its an accurate one.

You're right about that and it works great (95% of the time) but sometimes I come across a word that has multiple uses and it gets so confusing. Google translate and a quick Internet search usually clears it up but it would be nice to be able to speak to someone directly who actually knows the language.

I know some but its barely conversational. An yea synonyms and antonyms can be confusing; but it entirely depends on context of use on which meaning usually.
