If you are willing to trade freedom for the false safety promised by any central government, then the point of the American Constitution has eluded you.

I'll take the freedom of knowing my kids won't get shot in school, thanks. The actual concept of 'Freedom' is so lost on Americans it's ridiculous how quick you are to bring it up.

You can't protect your kids, nor can any law or law enforcement official. Period. Guns or not. The wrong guy on the street can walk up and snap their necks just because he decided the devil or his god wanted him to or just because he wants to watch them die. They will always be sick people killing the innocent. If one comes for me or my children, I atleast want to be able to send bullets his way. Safety is a function of individuals, not government.

Yeah, but compare how many kids are killed in America (percentage wise) ...the gun control helps. You can't pretect them from everything, but you can stop the -blam!-ing blaringly obvious.
-
I understand your point, but gun control is not an obvious solution to the events you fear. Evil people exist. Evil people harm others. You stop them by killing them or otherwise removing them from society.

How can you say that when everywhere gun control has been implemented, it has worked...?
