Got a m16 burst fire and can switch to auto and is sitting in a secured cabinet collecting Dust But, is still cleaned from time to time. Also have a m19 sitting under my bed in a locked box for safety reasons.

EDIT: The 30 seconds to one minute it takes to open up the case could be your life/personal belongings in a home invasion.
