You have my respect. I personally have a .22 rifle and two .22 pistols. One of the pistols is for competition. I've also got a 20 guage shotgun and a 12 gauge shotgun. Planing on buying an AR 15 that shoots 9mm instead of .556. Also planning on getting a mini 14 ranch rifle too. Something to keep in mind though, guns are only dangerous if you make them dangerous.

I have 2 12 gauges, 2 20 gauges, a .17 HMR, couple .22s, a 9mm, a .45, and .22 revolver. I also have a 22-250, 30-30, and .243.

All guns are dangerous. You make sure they are operated safely. Never let their mystique or culture override their reality.

Mac 11 with the 30 clip.

Have a .223 bolt action The whole process took me 7 months to acquire my first fire arm in australia, adter the first it takes about 3 or so days to clear...and im limited to rifles, and break open shotties only and rifles with max round capacity of 8...i think, but there is a round capacity restriction

Nice. Personally I own... .17 HMR, .22Magnum, .243, .300 WM and 12GA O/O. All rifles are bolt action as semi auto etc are illegal here in Oz. Don't own any pistols as that is a different kettle of fish all together.

While I generally share your enthusiasm for the second amendment, don't feed the trolls man. On a side note, good call on going 9mm. Your wallet will thank you. Lol

America! FACK YEAH! I have a modded Beseball Bat in case of Zombie Emergency ;)

I've got a .22 Remmington Rifle and a .45 Tarus handgun. The Remmington is for fun on the range, the Taurus is for conceal and carry/home protection.

I'm Canadian. No guns for me.

AR-15 9mm pistol 10/22 And a .308. My wife and kids go target shooting with me all the time. It's important to teach the young ones gun safety and how dangerous they are at a young age so that they understand the devastation they can cause if not respected.

Just took my 7 year old shooting with his .17 hmr. 16X scope shooting at 500 yds. Really fun gun. Almost flat at 500 yds. 1 mile in 2 seconds. Plus, leaves a tiny hole in coyotes.

What's a good compact, carry in your pocket handgun? Nothing too big for me, I'm too small for a Glock sized handgun. Thanks for the input.
Something to keep in mind though, guns are only dangerous in you make them dangerous.
True. However there obviously needs to be far more intricate processes to own a gun to avoid having kids killing kids because they're having a bad day. The pervasiveness of firearms in the USA has become so widespread and desensitization is so severe that people are actually proposing students should be packing heat to avoid getting shot.

Everyone on this thread needs to Google Jim Jeffries gun control video. It is really funny, but also very true.

I have a mini 14 ranch stainless, the new 582 series and it's fun but, save your money and build a beater AR for cheaper. I build/modify bolt rifles and pistols on the side and have owned around 40 different guns and I'm only 26.

Mini 14's are neat rifles, my dad had a few from the 80s. I went with an AR though. Easier to find parts/mags.
