I think it would be a cool place to hang out and read grimoire cards and lore. Heck you could even have quests where you go scavenging for golden age literature. 😊
The responses have been overwhelmingly positive! Thank you guys!! Please use the #Library tag to advocate for this if you have a minute. 🙌

Love this idea! That would make it easier and at least more enjoyable

Would be a good addition, you'll read a book that has something to do with the storyline............oh wait.
-
I love this idea. Grimoire should be in game anyway.

Hunting for books, like Skyrim? I love it. Reading certain books gives you buffs. Collecting certain books contains hidden treasure locations and new quests. Yes... Yes... I can see this being very interesting if added to the game.

Warlocks have them already

Good night friends! I hope this thread stays strong and Bungie reads it.

Great idea actually. I like it.

This guy must be a warlock lol

Hmm that actually sounds kinda cool, read the grimore cards and see what your missing, also ghosts and fragments
-
Those closed doors across from the speaker
-
Cool idea, bump. They can fund it with the emotes revenue.
-
Damn good idea, and we could have 2 badasss Warlocks at the entrance with void swords guarding the doors

My clan and i actually want this.. Maybe add it behind that door across from the speaker..? Also why cant they make our ships enterable and customized within..? The possibilities are endless.. Its just activision keeping the dlc scissors snipping on the destiny franchise.. Sigh..

looks like someone has NOT been to the Speaker. You should probably do the Basic level 2 Quest

I'd love if grimoire had voices for dialogue parts, but I understand why not. From a lore standpoint, it'd spoil the mysteries of who's saying what. If you hear a voice in a card that's labelled (for example) as Dredgen, then you'd recognize it in an unlabelled card. So the mystery would vanish (on the bright side, it'd settle the Jaren is Dredgen or not debate). On the business side, voice actors cost money and not worth it to read a small few paragraphs or lines.
