(Figured it's time to get back in the saddle.)
The body of a Taken Hunter lay lifeless near the Ishtar cliffs. The acidic rain of Venus had eroded some of the rock around the corpse.
There was a sudden twitch, then part of the Taken's shell started to peel. Fragments drifted off and burned in the air. The Hunter's skin burned with light. Not the false light of the taken, but true light. The Traveler's light. A ghost hovered above him, setting to work reviving his old friend.
Korvic stood up slowly, slightly fatigued from the sudden transformation and resurrection.
He slumped down and stared at his hand for a few moments, watching the last flecks of Taken skin burn from his armor.
"Good chat Lupi... Good chat."

"I hope you're up for more talking. Because I have questions." A Titan stood above Korvic. He had a shotgun aimed at the Guardian's body. His armor too familiar, his stance, the chest piece. Perhaps Korvic was familiar with him, but Aegis did not know him. And he was going to fire.

Korvic looked up at the Titan before him. His head slumped over to the side slightly. Seems that process took a toll on him physically. He grinned at the familiar face. "Heh... Hello to you, too ..."

"I suppose you know me as well...care to explain what relationship I had with you?" He lowered the weapon but kept his stance, waiting for a reply or attack.

Korvic chuckled quietly. "It's a very long story... Let's just say, We weren't always friends..."

"I'm getting that vibe from a lot of people. What did I do to make such great friends?" He put away the weapon and offered his hand.

"Well... I'm honestly not too sure. " Korvic accepted the Titan's hand and slowly got up to his feet.

"Well then at Least let me ask my question of why were you taken?" Once the hunter gets up the Titan let's go and observes him.

"Funny. I've never seen a Taken do that before." Sigma-6 had been watching the entire process, and felt a genuine curiosity beneath his casual and unexpressive demeanor. "So I guess you're among the Light once again?"

[i]Jack, on his Sparrow, flies around the corner and accidentally smacks into Korvic[/i] "Oh shit! Sorry man..." "[i]Jack...you're so stupid..."[/i]

Sheila: "More company? How many people does this guy know?"

"I don't know him."

Sheila: "Still you should be more careful what if you crash into a hydra. Ever stopped to think about that?"

"I punched Oryx in the face once."

Sheila: "Is that suppose to impress me or something?"

"No."

*Sheila sees this happening and rushes over to see* "You alright there?"

Korvic looks up from his hand. "Yeah... Yeah I'm fine."

"I haven't seen many break away people from their corruption. Those who tried died before they were completely cleansed." *look at guardian* "Before I forget my name is Sheila" *moves hand close*

[i]"Chi-[/i] i mean hey Guardian, didn't you died as a Taken?" Shadow asked.

"I got better."

"Great. That makes you as a special one. And, shall be added in my list. Ha. What's your name?" Shadow asked.

"My name's Korvic... Korvic Lanister... I'd give you the full introduction... But I'm too exhausted..."
