Bungie, need help. 100% sgowing in shindig in the crucible, but it is not giving me credit. Thoughts? Bugged?

Someone suggested that I don't hold the trigger when fan firing, and instead pace my shots when firing from the hip by individually firing each shot with a fresh pull of the trigger (you only have 8 shots, have to make them count). I tried a round of control with it, and that wasn't going so hot (Constantly getting out gunned by pulse rifles, auto rifles and sniper shotguns when I'd try to get in close enough to take advantage of TLW) managed a .91 KD which is just bloody awful (We won the match, but only just) I was reading elsewhere that perhaps going into rumble would be a good plan, but seeing as I struggle with rumble as it is when I'm using weapons I'm comfortable with, I can't see myself doing much better with the gun when running around in a game mode full of try hards and sweaties (no offense) Does anyone have some suggestions on how to use this gun effectively now? Ok so figured this out. I suck using TLW. I'm not bad at crucible but I am bad using TLW. I switched my strategy. I use my go to primary till my super is ready then take the free kills, switch back till heavy ammo is spawned, take the free kills. Switch back to my go to primary only equipping TLW before using heavy it super. In 3 matches I'm at 18%. This works with little to no reverse progress and its WAY less frustrating. Hope others see this. Crucible is not for everyone but I'm sure everyone wants to own this shotgun. This is another way to get it. =)...

Struggling with this dang quest. But I am using the Yr1 version of TLW. Does anyone know if Yr1 vs Yr2 weapons make a difference with this quest since leveling is disabled in regular crucible?

Need to sustain a 2.0 kd or you're losing progress seems a little ridiculous to me...

I noticed when i died with it equipped i lost %, thats a given. However, when using a special or heavy equipped, i didn't. So, i hate to say it, but, when u know ur going to die, try ur best to quickly switch weapons. So at least when ur going to lose %, keep it to a minimum. My titan had the best luck, took awhile, but well worth the effort. Not so much with my hunter & warlock, highest they ever seen was 72%, which quickly dropped down to single digits. Sometimes u just don't see it coming.

I hate this mission so much.day three from release, i started, got all the way up to 53% back down to zero. Youjust lose way too much per death. It seems like plus one per kill, minus two per death. Which screws me..

I was dreading it when I got it , but I wasn't too bad. You don't lose points if the weapon isn't equipped. Also, you don't have to get kills with , just have to have it equipped. You can get kills with special and heavy for it to count. Play an objective based game mode, and hang back. I did it in contorl, just stayed by our home zone and killed anyone who came to it. Wait for heavy and supers to charge. Equip it when you get your super or heavy, and take off last word when done. Kill streams add bonus %

Wins count as 3% and you don't lose progress if you don't have TLW equipped. I've been playing normally with my usual weapons then hiding and equipping TLW if my team is just about to win.

Use a Rocket Launcher or Machine Gun. Pick up heavy ammo when it spawns, equip TLW, get kills with heavy til you run out of ammo, unequip TLW. Rinse and repeat.

I hate this quest. When you die you lose to much progress. The gun sux. I have always hated it. I can't seem to complete this quest at all. All the peeps saying you suck are idiots. Try hards and last word spammers.

For this quest, you only need to have it equipped when you are playing. Sniping from the back of the map will count, as will melees, grenades, heavies, and supers. If you are a run-and-shotgunner, that will count. I just use TLW when i run out of ammo for my other weapons.
