So I know a lot of people hate the south but I also know a lot of people love the south. But I want to know why you feel that way.
I love the south. I was born and raised in Alabama and I love it because of the hospitality here. I remember going to
California and people would look at me funny if I asked how their day was going. I only hate two things in the south.
1. Its hot
2. I hate country music
But anyways flood. Whats your opinion of the south and why?

What I don't love is the mentality those same people have, the way they would run politics if they completely had their way, and its history is not something I am proud of. I can't help but feel like a bit of an outcast sometimes, I'm more liberal than conservative and that kind of person seems to be a rare breed in the South. That said, I'm staying unless things get really bad here. I'm not moving far away from my loved ones. I'll miss its setting and culture if I leave. I love the hospitality its citizens have, as long as I don't tell them about my honest political views hehe.
