I have a theory on the mysterious patrol missions that sometimes pop up on patrol. If you don't know what these are, they are like regular patrol mission only you don't choose when they pop up. They appear out of nowhere and will ask you to complete three tasks which vary from killing enemies, to getting head shots, to getting planetary materials and chest, to just... dancing. I don't know the exact reward they give but the last one I completed gave me 2 strange coins. I don't know exactly what triggers these events but they seem to be mostly random. Anyway, my theory is about these patrol missions is that they have something to do with the exotic scout rifle (I think it's a scout rifle) No Time To Explain. Unfortunately I have no time to explain why I have no time to explain this theory. Puns aside, after completing my latest one my ghost said something that got me thinking. He was talking about who could have sent the transmission for the tasks and says "What if this was... actually, never mind" or something like that. This led me to believe that the the exo stranger might be the one sending these transmissions and that the tasks are to test you to see if you are, either, worthy of wielding the no time to explain or if you are worth of the tasks that will lead to getting it. My guess is once you have done enough of these or once you've done enough of these and bungie releases a mission you'll be able to start a quest line to get the no time to explain, which I'm just gonna guess may involve you using or needing the strangers rifle. If you have any thoughts on this let me know, and if I'm completely wrong and or if bungie has already said otherwise please let me know kindly, without raging at me or insulting me. Sorry if I'm thinking the worst of you but I've been on the internet long enough to know there are some real jerks out there.
