I believe Pulse Rifles, especially the mid-RoF and mid-Impact ones coupled with a Sniper. Thing is, Pulses are so strong now that legendary types are as good as the exotics ones (Red Death and Bad Juju). Other weapon types lack this flexibility, unless you get a really good roll which is now based on RNG and not on reforge. Although, Hawkmoon seems to be the best Hand Cannon out there, Zhalo Supercell the best Auto, and maybe MIDA still the best Scout for PvP; everything comes down to the player's style.
