Basically bungie set a fund raiser thing. (I think it was to buy something on their shop?)
Either way players that did contribute to the fund raising event were given a shader and emblem. They could do the same thing with cancer but I dont know. It is always nice to do a little fund raising

Sure if all the proceeds went to it, which we know it all won't. But again I'd like to keep my personal life attachments out of my games.
