oh hey guys, I was wrong. Apparently Marty confessed to lying about the whole situation. Bungie actually did have a reason to fire him. Marty framed Bungie, and Bungie recently sued Marty for millions! I'm so dissapointed.

I think the audio for the video might be -blam!-ed up. It was kinda muffled like the dude was trying to talk through a mouthful of dog shit. All I could really hear was.... "What's up guys it's me, PretentiousDickbag here with another Talk Shit About Bungie While I Play Destiny video. In this video, I'm gonna be talking about a huge controversy that I only know one side of because I read it in an article written by whatever gaming site happens to be trustworthy this week. I'm gonna pretend to know what I'm talking about because I was an intern for 3 days at my mom's work so I have plenty of experience when it comes to this kinda shit. So just sit back and relax while I shove this rhetoric down your throat and make sure you feel like utter trash for disagreeing with me." I don't know... should I maybe turn the volume down a bit?

I stopped watching at 2 minutes because it is all just plain WRONG. "It was Bungie, not Activision, fanboy." False. Activision, without Marty's permission, took "creative control" over Marty's music, a direct violation of his contract. Marty complained, presumably threatened some Bungie employees, and then Activision told Bungie to drop Marty. "They took all of Marty's music for 10 years." What? No. Look at the soundtrack for TTK (it's on iTunes: give it a quick glance-over): O'Donnel's name isn't even on it. It's entirely new music created by separate composers. You can even tell from the titles and general sound of the music: O'Donnel's 'Music of the Spheres' had Excerpts, such as the Rose and the Calamity. These are absent in name and sound from the TTK soundtrack. Couple that with the fact that Marty had the rights to MotS, not Bungie or Activision, and it's clear that this is false. (Note: Activision has production rights, so Marty can't produce the MotS, but neither can Activision as Marty has creative rights.) "I worked as my mom's secretary, and let me tell you..." K. I think we can all see how this is flawed logic. "Human beings basically think they're the good guy." Where are you going with this? In fact, what the heck are you talking about? This is about contracts and rights and money: where'd you come up with this good/evil bs? So anyway, don't listen to this guy.

Edited by Enochua: 10/12/2015 12:03:35 AMMost of you pretend to know what was going on. Take the approach of not knowing. They had to re-boot the story cause no one knew the story from beginning to end. It was still in the guys mind and possibly in story board format. But for a ten year story I doubt it. That goes for the music as well.

So many idiotic fanboys just say he "bitches" but he actually gives out good points.

Edited by Safari Farnsy: 10/12/2015 1:34:48 AMCorporate circus intrigue wasted millions that could have been spent on delivering Destiny content. Worth reading the behind-the-scenes trail & read the blog by Tom Buscaglia.. http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/30341/article/the-story-behind-marty-o-donnell-s-lawsuit-against-bungie/

DEAR FANBOYS, OPEN YOUR EYES! Not Activision this time. The company itself, Bungie. I wonder what the future of Destiny will be like with d-bags running the company.

Daily reminder that I don't care and probably never will!

Cool. I play the game. I enjoy it. I don't care what goes on a bungie. As long as the game is fun I am happy.
-
Nobody gives a shit but the people involved
-
Is it me or did bungie change after they left Microsoft.
-
-
-
I liked the old music better.
-
I feel like bungie won't care what we think. So no matter what this won't matter
-
He was fired, and yeah he may have been an asshole, but how Bungie handled the situation was really shitty. Termination 'without' cause, withholding payment and taking his stocks in the company away. That's just not right, no matter what happened
