So im here just here punch someone then BAM all of a sudden i speed forward and die
Edit:BigDaddyRex's explaination
As Lord Shaxx put it...Our arms are so powerful that sometimes when we punch an enemy our mag boots can't handle the extreme force delivered by our fists. What ends up happening is that sometimes we are propelled in the opposite direction and collide with walls, etc. He advices to be mindful of our surroundings at all times as the Crucible and the universe is no place for mercy. Sometimes when a class with a lunge melee hits someone and you're between them and the target the game pushes you out the way... Sometimes too hard

I accidentally killed my fireteam .....oops ..... It definitely wasn't my fault

How about this

Damn taken phalanxes need to stay out of the crucible

This is what happens when Titans use Blink.

Oh my god this thread

I've noticed when you kill the shank boss in that one strike if you have sunbreaker on you can punch his metal can corpse around at unbelievable speeds. Does not work with other Titan punches, I've tried.
-
You got a great source of momentum in order to do that, but from where? There was a guy right next to you before you launched, so maybe someone punched you and the physics glitches for a split second, causing the momentum that you received to be multiplied several times over.
-
The Titan behind you lunged towards him to punch him but you were in the middle of it and got launched.

Edited by Doos: 11/1/2015 6:51:28 AMBasically goes like this. When you melee. There's a specific range on it. If you're within that range then your character is sped forward to close that gap. Nothing too major. Just a few inches. Well with a little bit of lag at the right time and your opponent trying to get away. The dragging your character forward moment... Well it kept going. Attempting to finish that melee strike. We all know what the speed of light does to our guardian's bodies, thanks to our lovely phalanx friends.
but I like Lord Shaxx's explanation better
