What about a prostate cancer shader?
equal rights
English
-
You do realize that both men and women get breast cancer.
-
He never said anything about men and women
-
He was stating "equal rights" in terms of representing testicular cancer, implying that breast cancer only affects women.

Edited by mokmuud: 10/12/2015 6:46:12 AMNo you made that assumption
-
Not an assumption, more an inference, based on present information. If I am wrong, they shall correct me, and I shall retract my statement. Until then, it remains reasonable.
-
In Australia (not sure about other countries) prostate cancer awareness is an all blue event, in contrast to all pink for breasts cancer.
-
What I gathered from responses before mine: •You're worthless. •F men; I have guilt for being a man. •You're choice for cancer is wrong and so you should be verbally punished. •The media hype machine doesn't support men's equality so neither do I.
What about a prostate cancer shader?
equal rights

If prostate cancer was as big of a health problem as breast cancer, it might be helpful. As it is, prostate cancer is very often treatable & patients far more often for from other causes (old age being chief among them) before it's ever a health threat. Breast cancer OTOH tends to be highly aggressive, requires harsh treatments, physically debilitates & scars it's victims, & has a high mortality. It's also largely preventable with proper screening which us facilitated by funding & awareness. This really isn't an issue for some bullshlt MRA crap. If you want equal rights in regard to cancer maybe try being a bit more empathetic to an entire half of the human species that faces a real, yet preventable cancer threat everyday & still has assholes making comments like yours... all while male politicians threaten to defund the centers that refer women for screening & treatment.

I remember reading how quickly Viagra got approved. It's still a bit one sided.
-
Settle down. Don't worry. Everyone will still give breast cancer more attention than everyone else's cancer. God forbid someone suggests we be concerned about other types regardless of how it's presented.
-
Call it poop stain
-
Wouldn't it be a white shader?
coz, you know...
-
All white with a brown stripe down the center I'd rock it
-
So then we need to grow beards.
-
I mean, in all for growing beards, but why?
-
That's what no shave November is for. Prostate cancer awareness.
-
Oh right. Haha
-
Or, you know Lung Skin Pancreatic Colon Brain Ovarian Testicular Cancers? lol
-
I would imagine ones that are more deadly or more widespread would get more attention. Or in the case of ALS, even though it's not the most widespread, it concerned children so it's pretty well funded, especially after the ice bucket challenge took off. Some things just hit the heartstrings.
