We need a breast cancer awareness shader!
I think it'd be cool if we had an all pink shader for October. What do you think guardians?
Edit: It was just an idea of mine, so I posted it. A lot of people are saying, "What about other diseases?" It isn't that I don't care about any other issues, I just thought it would be nice just because it's October.
Edit 2: Also, I didn't mean you'd have to make a donation for it, I meant that you'd receive it for free, just to raise awareness.
Edit 3: There are mixed opinions about this. Someone gave the idea of having shader for all cancer. But that leaves other diseases out. I wasn't suggesting that It should be implemented. It was just an idea to create discussion.

Im not against breast cancer awareness, but it's really getting old seeing all these athletes and famous people wearing pink for it. Why can't we wear brown for one of the, if not the most deadly cancers, prostate.

However, we should have a cardiovascular awareness shader because in the Western World, particularly the United States, myocardial infarction and stroke are the number [b][i]ONE[/i][/b] cause of mortality. You can take all the cancers, all the infections, all MVAs, multiple by ten, and it still won't amount to the number of deaths due to cardiovascular-related death. But what do I know, I'm only an M.D. and see far too many cases of hypertension and atherosclerotic comorbidities in patients.

Free would be awesome but this was the only kind of microtransaction I asked for, ones that make donations like when they did the Nepal thing, I was hoping you could donate just a couple bucks for the emblem and shader.

1 ReplyNot a bad idea, could take a step further and Bungie could host a playlist that would need a small donation (2-3 dollars) to access it. All proceeds go to a reputable cancer foundation.
