I went to NM originally, but quickly switched to DO as the DLC dropped. I picked NM mainly because my favourite color was red, and I figured I could make the weapons and armor work. Which I did, but then DO had brilliant perks and weapons along with them so I switched. Personally, I don't read the lore. My boyfriend does, so I hear about it, and know a little. Like, how Oryx was supposed to be a girl and the back story on the Queen's brother. I just look for perks and handiness all around.
