It's definitely the the first pve primary worthy of coughing up that exotic slot for even in end game content. Unless you have telesto.

I got both on the same day. Much prefer zhalo

In strikes I'll use the Zhalo up until the boss fight then I'll switch over to the telesto.

Yeah kinda. Can do similar things in a slightly different way. Great mob killer like FB but if you do it right almost unlimited ammo. And both have arc. It also reminds me of Thunderlord a bit too with the electric chaining mobs.
