Here's a chance for those people with kids to vent and explain how parenthood has changed you for the best of course. I am a mom of a beautiful 2 and a half year old boy. ^_^ ♡
Picture above: The peaceful, quiet, and blissful moments are far few in between. Cherish them while you can. I like capturing these moments with my son.
You know you're a parent when...
- You clap and celebrate when someone potties or takes a shit. (son potty training at the moment)
-You have to turn your mic off during party chat and during gaming because your kid is squealing to where your ears bleed, you want to save everyone else's ears.
-other kids tantrum screams makes you cringe. It's all too familiar to you.
-Nothing is nasty to you no more. You've dealt with vomit, pee on your face, and poop. Need I say more?
-You find several hot wheels in your purse when you reach in there for your keys or chunk change.
-Your pain tolerance has gone up from getting kicked, stepping on hot wheels and getting body slammed.
- you dream of sleeping in but you wake up and it was just a dream.
- Your Friday nights consist of doing the MC Hammer dance and any other dance till your kid falls asleep. Yep that's the new club hopping for you, haha.
-You eat your kids cereal from time to time, yay fruit loops!
-As a working mom you wonder how can a stay at home mom do crafts all day. That's just me anyways.
-You wonder about getting a short mom haircut and know now it's vital (for me, never!) Though I still wonder about it but than I see my mom's face. Ahh!
-you pat yourself on the back for keeping your kid alive thus far! (I'm at the toddler stage right now)
- a Shot of henny and a bottle of Mikes hard lemonade is now your kryptonite. Your party days are over.
-Your phone is the savior for your child before that tantrum hits at the grocery store. Thank goodness for technology! ^_^
- -blam!- you pinterest! I can't help but browse you!
- You finally get to game for more than an hour! You pinch yourself to check if you're dreaming.
Let's here yours.
For those with no kids and you didn't like what you read. Don't forget to wrap your willy!

I have a son and daughter that play my games more than I do. Does that count as, "for the better"?
-
When the person below Sp00kedy Canadana is a total fgt
-
You know you're a parent when you have a child living in your house
-
When you sit at home all day and do nothing but make pointless post on a gaming thread that you barely even played and then constantly bump them to make yourself feel important.
-
I didn't even know you had kids. Where have I been all this time.
-
You look forward to SpongeBob because it's a cartoon you can relate to. You become (insert kid's name)'s dad/mom.
-
Makes me want kids even less
-
Stepping on Legos.....
-
stepping on hot wheels
At least its no legos
-
I have 3....there is no peace ;)
-
I read it as "planet"
-
Look at the bright side, you have an acceptable reason to quit from terrible raid teams.
-
All very true. Hang in there, I'm sure it will get easier... one day.
-
You're cleaning vomit off the floor and it isn't yours. There's pee on your furniture, carpet, you, etc. A face looks under the bathroom door at you. Sweet child has removed their clothes and diaper and flashed everyone in public…again. You leave the supermarket exhausted and with a new toy against your better judgement. You pray the screaming stops when you say no. You realize all those things you did as a child are no longer funny when done to you.
I don't have kids and don't plan on having any.
-
You don't play video games anymore cause you care more about your family than pixels on a screen
-
I'm at the infant stage where sitting down is the worst sin I can do. It's endless walking back and forth when daddy gets home.
-
Your OP pretty much says it all. Yes Fruit Loops are amazing. I find myself picking up their toys just so I know for sure I won't step on them but every now and then they, the kids, love hide a toy in plain sight just to get ya. I find myself watching the same movies over and over and over again, my 3 year old son is obsessed with Monsters, Inc drives me crazy but he has to watch like 3 or more times a day. Umm as a parent I love school more now my 5 year old daughter just started kindergarten so when the kids are with me I get some peace between 8am till 2pm, but after that chaos. I hate popular music more now cause my daughter will not stop doing that God awful watch me wip now watch me nae nae crap, so when I have the kids I make them listen to Metallica, Led Zeppelin, and other bands just so I know that they know what real music sounds like.

When Dora or Mickey Mouse clubhouse comes on and you think "not this episode again I've seen this one a million times!!" When you find milk in the pantry. When you wake up in the morning to someone prying your eyelids open. When you go to the toilet and the last person to use it hasn't flushed and they've left their underwear behind the door. When you're a man but you know how to plat hair really well.
-
When you're at work you drop references to kid shows. Whats gonna work?! TEEEAM WORK!

Don't cut that hair! It may be harder but you don't want to miss it. Also makes girls look younger, so there is that too :p

your son is so cute! Although I dont think I'll ever have kids, because I don't want them. But I'm glad you're happy that you have them! Good luck :D
