See I think they should get rid of PvP so all the complainers can go back to playing COD, and leave the rest PvE so that way this game doesn't attract ass hats.

So you would rather the game just be the same PVE stuff with the same AI enemies doing the same thing over and over and over and over. Yeah that sounds tons of fun
-
This game is called DESTINY. CRUCIBLE is a part of DESTINY. I like pve and pvp I'ma pro at both. I beat all raids made to the lighthouse in the trials of osiris. I listen to crucible radio and planet destiny podcast.
-
You're complaining....and you're a PvE guy. Just making that statement makes you seem like an ass hat. You basically fit your stereotypical perspective of a PvP guy. The irony....
I think they should just remove complainers.
There isn't enough replay value outside of PvP.
-
theres more reply value in destiny than cod bf gears halo mgs5 fallout
-
Tedious grinding doesn't equal replay value. Much of Destiny time isn't fun.
-
2end 3erd characters equal replay value. Go to your corner your in timeout.
-
That is just more grind, as the story/missions don't really change between characters. Replay value would be different stories or different outcomes based on class.
-
Lol absolutely not
-
There will always be ass hats
-
I know but 90% of destiny players are ass hats cause of PvP and yes I know we get those few from PvE, but I think if PvP was gone most of the ass hats would go back to COD

Good for you I applaud you for your efforts. On the other hand I don't care for PvP, never been to lighthouse but I get drawn away from PvP because every time I play it I get messages at the end of people being asses saying I should break my disc, or get gud like most people say it. When I play PvP I just want to relax and enjoy the game, I don't get that when I play destiny PvP.
-
Edited by the spicy one: 10/11/2015 5:29:15 PMI've played a ton of PVP and people over exaggerate the rude people who supposedly ALWAYS send messages afterwards. That doesn't really happen that often. I've gotten more GG messages or things along those lines then I have hate messages
-
Then you're lucky.
-
I don't think pvp players are anywhere near 90% since only 15% of the total playtime is pvp time, and that includes the playtime from pve players doing pvp for quests.
-
old stats bro. This game is called DESTINY. CRUCIBLE is a part of DESTINY. I like pve and pvp I'ma pro at both. I beat all raids made to the lighthouse in the trials of osiris. I listen to crucible radio and planet destiny podcast.

Few months old ya, but the playing habits of the install base likely haven't changed much.
-
Or we could remove PvE so asshats like you leave...
-
Yes ofc, remove the main game the setting is based around and leave only the tacked on submode
-
I mean... If it gets rid of the asshats...
-
But then ~85% of their players would quit. Plus, quest bits aside (which tbf is obnoxious) PvE players don't make PvP worse with their complaints, while nearly every single PvP based nerf has made something suck (or not as good) in PvE. Also, the 2 "halves" of Destiny aren't "halves", the crucible is a last minute tacked on submode, not wanting to play it is a valid demand. The real asshats imo are those who say "you don't deserve a piece of loot in a loot-based game because you don't like/aren't good enough at the mode I like", what do they even care ? It's a digital item in a game ffs, relax. The opposite doesn't compare, you can't buy an open-world coop rpg/mmo and complain you can't get everything by playing just the little side-mode. On the other hand, buying an open-world coop rpg/mmo, for the open-world coop rpg/mmo main mode and being required to play the little side-mode you don't care about, for an item you got the quest for in the main mode and that you'll use in the main mode, is annoying and doesn't help anyone. The PvE player is bugged that s/he has to be in the crucible and the PvP players are bugged that someone is boosting/cheesing/sucking/not playing the objective/etc
-
Ffs take it too seriously then
-
Was just bringing up a simple point, just because I used "suck" and "ffs" doesn't mean I'm being super serious or pissed.
