First off thank you so much for making this post. I main warlock and am a huge fan of the warminds (I wanted to side with the seven seraphs before the game was released). As such my favorite armor is the Seraph sets, specifically the year 2 variant. I really wish warlock would get a warmind tech exotic armor peice, like the titans feedback fence. The Simulant is my new baby, was in the theorists group and honestly was okay with how the quest turned out. I didnt expect it to be over the top, just a few small puzzles here and there. Im glad its fairly easy to get and that a lot of guardians got it. The lore behind it is that rasputins defenses were failing to often so he initiated ikelos to arm guardians with his technology so we could defend him more effectively. So not only is the simulant canonically mass produced, it also happens that a ton of people got it simultaneously, kinda like ikelos being activated in realtime. I liked that idea that this is rasputin recruiting us and preparing for the future. Okay so one day during dark below, i was just patrolling around mars. I had recently gotten into finding glitch spots where you could break out of the map and explore hidden areas. So what I decided to do was flag down passerbys and lead em into the glitch spots for some out of map adventures. The first person who decides to folllow me repays me by offering an exotic chest checkpoint in the vault of glass. We go in there, just me and him. I didnt get anything, but this happen to also be my first time in the vault. So we decided to forge ahead. we got past the gorgons no problem and began -blam!-in around on the jumping puzzle. Once we got to the throne room we decided to stop. But then we thought, yknow what, we're already here, lets just find four people and do it. so we did. We were a ragtag team so it took an hour or two for us to get through but we did. I had completely forgotten we were on hard mode. Back at the gorgons i had joked about just finding some people and beating it and said "watch me get a mythoclast on my first run". Lo and behold, it happened. I got a mythoclast on my first ever vault completion. That was good day.
