@Players:
I don't know about you guys but running out of glimmer isn't a problem...or at least shouldn't be?. With the options of places to Glimmer farm combined with the option of storing Beads, Banners, Codex, and Keys in the Vault as a form of Savings Account. As of today I have 183,000 worth of Glimmer locked up in my Vault. But here's the funny thing...I never need to dip into it! Im also holding onto the Royal Amethyst for another 18,000 which pushes me over the 200,000 mark.
Are any of you in the same boat? Wouldn't you prefer there just not be a cap?
@Bungie:
Won't you please consider just removing the cap? If you would, please delve into your data for a little snoop at the player data across the board. I have creeping suspicion you'll find that a substantial amount of players are stowing Beads, Banners, Codex, and Keys in their vaults. So I am compelled to ask what the point of keeping a cap is if we are circumventing it anyway? Perhaps a public statement of why there is one would keep us from asking? If there were no cap I imaging a new mechanic could be that when you pick up the white pyramid that is either a Bead, Banner, Codex, or Key it would automatically be converted to glimmer in your balance and not be an item that needs to take up a slot on a character....or ultimately in the vault, thus giving you an opportunity to free up 4 more vault spaces for you to give back to us as you see fit.
What say ye fine fellows at Bungie?

I agree with this.
