Yip, exactly the same with me last night. Took my shards and I got just one drop and worse the boots were only 300 just like the only other raid armour I've got the Gauntlets twice and both at 300. I've run the raid twice and can't get my light above 300 as I've only had one weapon (no armour) above 300... But taking my Shards and not dropping anything extra feels like a real kick, as it should be the bonus you get for multiple runs.
