I know to run away when I see them, that's all I know. You know how strong the HoS is? Before the glitch got patched, (the one where you can literally spam hammers) you can literally melt bosses! The Hunter's Nighthawk helmet is probably the most powerful insta damage super in the game, and it came nowhere close to the HoS. A nightstalker, combined with 2 HoS would bring a bosses health to at least half now. No super comes close to that.
