Sunbreakers are fine. Before your bias and prejudice consume your reasoning hear me out.
1. Taking a look at the class AS A WHOLE, it's not overpowered.
2. The melee is subpar at best and Is outclassed by several other melee's (i.e. the ridiculous range of stormcallers melee)
3. The grenades are not that great. Fusion grenades were nerfed pretty hard, and the rest of the grenades are outclassed by what hunters and warlocks offer.
4. The mobility. Titans have far less agility and USEFUL movement abilities when compared to hunters and warlock.
5. All of the complimentary perks surrounding the sunbreakers, are aimed towards the SUPER. Warlocks and hunters have perks that actually benefit them in meaningful ways, both outside and inside super without losing functionality.
Bungie has favored warlocks and hunters for the better part of a year, I say we let titans have this one. Let them be powerful. Because I think that's what Sunbreaker is, POWERFUL not overpowered.

In the hands of a skilled player, no amount of damage reduction nerf will be enough because of Cauterize. I guarantee you there will still be no end to the nerf posts unless damage reduction is removed which would turn the subclass to shit. Can't change blast radius because of PvE consequences. My solution: Swap the Cauterize and Explosive Pyre perks in the subclass skill tree. That way you can have health regen or tracking hammers but you can't have both at the same time. Buff impact on 1000 Yard Stare so it can OHK on headshot.

All they need to do is make the 53% damage reduction a little lower so like high impact sniper should oneshot on a headshot, golden gun oneshots like the titans hammers do to make it a fair game because i always get out super when they are in sunbreaker because i need to hit two times to kill

I guarantee that it won't be enough. I've used HoS here and there, I still prefer Fist of Havoc, and a minor reduction will barely affect the ability to go ham with this super.

If your even a few feet from the blast radius, then you'll walk away fine. 2. I've never ohk someone with my melee. Even with melting point. It does a lot of damage, I'm not denying that, but I've never been ohk or done it to someone else. 3. I agree. 4. If you're referring to the titan skate technique, then no I'm not ignorant. I use that same tactic to get around the maps. 90% of titan users however either don't know how to do it, or don't know how to use it properly. (Also when I said USEFUL movement abilities I meant that titans don't have blink. Hunters and warlocks can straight blink out of supers, rockets, and grenades. The invincibility frames are dumb). 5. Perpetual charge on stormcallers, Quickdraw on Bladedancers, golden gun with that reload perk (I forget the name). All of these and several others which I haven't named, are what make the complimentary perks on hunters and warlocks strong.

I'm making an argument for why a fictional sub class in a video game isn't overpowered and you insult me when I reply without any harsh or offensive language...I think you should tone it down some buddy. Watch TrueVanguards or datto's videos on the Sunbreaker. They're much better players than you or me and play far more often. I'm willing to admit when I've lost an argument, but no one has been able to refute my arguments or the arguments of others who share my opinion. Until that happens I'm sticking to my belief that Sunbreaker is not OP. Powerful, but not overpowered - Bigtime

5: Really? Bladedancer- Blink, Backstab (still glitches by the way), Quick Draw, Fleet Footed (for the shotgunners), Hungering Blade. Nightstalker- Envenomed, Vanish in Smoke, Lockdown, Shadestep, and can carry two grenades without a perk for it. Voidwalker- Axion Bolt, Blink, Life Steal, Annihilate, Vortex Mastery (Axion seekers last 3 times as long), Bloom Sunsinger- Firebolt, Flame Shield, Touch of Flame, Viking Funeral, Gift of the Sun (if fusion grenades are your thing) Stormcaller- Chain Lightning, Amplitude, Pulsewave, Feedback, Electrostatic Mind, Arc Web Striker- Lightning Grenade, Aftershock, Transfusion, Shoulder Charge Gunslinger and Sunbreaker are about the same in terms of subclass build being primarily to buff their supers to insane levels. If you're referring to the worst melee in the game, I didn't think that was worth mentioning, kind of the same way I left out Incendiary Blade for Gunslinger. Both being incredibly opportunistic and not at all in the same vein as the other subclasses. I also left out how Gunslingers have that same DoT grenade but most people probably wouldn't know that considering Tripmine is significantly better and more popular. Outside of using HoS, Cauterize is opportunistic, not an ability you can rely on like Life Steal on a Voidwalker. Same way Transfusion is on Striker Titans. I like how you pretended that all those other subclass builds don't exist to bolster your own argument. Who's drunk?

do remember the titan bubble it was the first class too get a nerf . The bubble used too be unkillable you had too wait for the timer too run out . next minute nerf def titan becomes worst class in the game I fear when they nerf sunbreaker the same thing will happen
