Am I the only person that regularly gets one shotted by golden gun?

No, because it's possible. Under a Max armor build + increased armor for the solar armor it is not, which isn't the supers fault at that point. I had an entire day where I sat and got my hunter from 29-40 in only the Crucible, and I OHKO'd every single sunbreaking titan that I rolled up again. There may have been very few that lived, but they must have died immediately afterwards. I was uncontested with my Golden Gun if I wasn't an idiot with it.

Happens to me regularly too. Granted I don't have my armour at max I prefer agility to increase my jump slightly but considering the how much damage a gg does to a maxed armour hammer user I think it's balanced. A golden gun remains the best long range super. I swear I don't understand why people are bitching about the hammer soo much. It easy to dodge a hammer and most the time I use atleast 3 of my Max 7 hammers (if I throw then fas fire without timing my aim) just getting that one pesky hunter who blinks/sidesteps away.

I run max armor, and even have a chest piece that increases my armor with a solar subclass. Always get one shotted.

No you don't, the math has been done, if you have just max armor and aren't already weak, then GG does NOT Ohk, it leaves you with a sliver of health and with the solar extra armor it only takes you down to half red bar...

I get one shot by golden gun all the time because I don't run the max armor build. I find recovery to be more effective in both PvE and PvP so yeah I don't mind taking a golden gun shot, even though it can be beyond frustrating.
