Hello, fellow guardians! I have noticed that my thread has gone down in popularity and has stayed down due to my inactivity. And I would like to say I'm sorry for not being active! Games have come out that I have been very interested in (FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT), so I've resorted to playing those day and night, forgetting about my wonderful thread, and honestly, Destiny altogether.
While taking time off of Destiny, I've realized that it's no good to play due to Bungie's current obsession with PVP (likely due to Activision). I, for one, despise the introduction of PVP to Destiny. This game should not have been made that way. I feel like Activision ruined it for that reason, among many others, but the gaming experience was an overall amazing one.
I got to know some good friends I have online now and I have come to know a completely new style of game altogether. I am not usually playing games in the likes of Destiny, I'm mostly into solid RPG's and horror. But, besides that, Destiny has been a great experience and I love that I got to converse with you all! I'm so glad to see the community is still thriving, and who knows, maybe I'll be back for the second game, but right now it doesn't look too promising with the first still in motion.

6 RepliesLast year my girlfriend and I found a kitten outside of our house. It was a blue eyed, Siamese kitten. Initially, she ran away...actually more like limped away as fast as she could... and hissed... Swiped...but my girlfriend ended up getting a hold of her. Upon inspection, we noticed she was extremely flea bitten, like you could see a grip of fleas crawling all over her face. We could see that her whiskers were singed and burned off....she was next to a lighter when we found her. We cleaned her up and took her to the vet...where we learned someone took her back leg and literally snapped in half...like you would snap a twig...how could anyone do that? Anyway, because this isn't a normal injury cats have the surgery was extremely expensive...we couldn't afford it at the time. The only other option was amputation...we didn't want to do that, its so unfair to her. To be born, beat up, tortured, and then have your leg cut off? Couldn't accept it, we decided to make a gofundme and spread the story around as much as we could...it took a little time but through the genoristy and good will of random people we were able to afford her surgery and save her leg. Today she is healthy, happy, has two other cats to play with...has raw meat for every meal...a catified home to play in. She's in a good place now and received lots of love although still very traumatized she makes improvements every day. Her name is Daisy, her sisters are Peach and Zelda and she's finally home. =) (Yes, my cats are named after Nintendo princesses.)
