Has anyone done any testing, or has Bungie commented on the effectiveness of the chest armor perks "[element] Recovery," "[element] Armor," or "[element] Burn Defense"?
I would assume the modifier for "Burn Defense" would be the most drastic, since that would only be functional in a burn activity like the nightfall. I'd love to know the actual damage mitigation of "Burn Defense" and "Armor," and the recovery increase for "Recovery" to see if it's worthwhile for me to stockpile chest pieces for different situations.
Also, are the effects the same in the Crucible as they are in PvE? I could see this being just as important as their painstaking gun damage calculations when it comes to "time to kill" in PvP.
I'm a little put off that, with all the really specific info we got on gun stats in the 2.0 patch notes, there's practically no mention of these potentially game-changing armor perks.
Any info you guys have come up with would be super useful for the community! Thanks, guardians!
