So one guy posted how pissed he was that he came out on top in Crucible and got nothing while the last place guy got a Gjallarhorn (back when it was an amazeballs weapon). SmoggyPluto was the one who got the Gjallarhorn This *might* have faded into oblivion except one poster stepped up and spiked it into legend territory when he went and defended Smoggy saying that he deserved to get the drop because he knew Smoggy personally, that Smoggy had taken bullets for him on multiple occaisions, helped him pay the rent when he was short one month and returned his lost dog to him. From there people went into a kind of "Chuck Norris Facts - Destiny Edition" where they started claiming the most ridiculous things about the exploits of SmoggyPluto. That he dual-wielded Gjallarhorns in his primary slot, that he once got a kill on a Mars Crucible map while on patrol on Venus, you name it and it probably popped up in that thread. In short, a good time was had by all that month and SmoggyPluto was cemented into legendary status because of a one-two combo viral post.
