Let me tell you of a story about the golden age young guardian.......... I will never forget the day I met Smoggy. I was at the tower. It was a bright day. The sun shown brightly as the Traveler hung in the sky. It was surprisingly peaceful that day. But little did I know that day I would meet "him." I walked to Rahool and decrypted some engrams. I needed a legendary piece of armor. Rahool looked me in the eyes with a smirk. I knew what was going to happen. He decrypted the engrams for me. I shook nervous. Has the RNG system #rekt me again? I hoped not. He turns to me handing me a blue chest plate. I hold back my tears as Rahool looks me in the eyes. His disdain for Guardians had no bounds. He hated us. But we needed him, and he knew it. I walked away. Tears falling down my face. The sky seemed to turn dark. The sun faded away as I see an eclipse begin. I look up as the sky turns dark with thundering clouds and rushing winds. I look behind me. Everyone trembled in fear. Then I saw it. A guardian, who armor shown with the brightness of the sun. He glided down from the sky as lighting struck his armor. He wasn't fazed by it. He touched the ground delicately. As he touched the tower floor cracks began to appear around him. The floor was caving in around him. Every step he took shook the tower. At any moment it would all collapse. He walked over to Rahool and grabbed him my his garment. He held him in the air. He pulled up his hand and in it appeared the blue chest plate. I checked my inventory. It was gone. Smoggy clenched his hand around the chest plate. It then changed back into an engram. I was awe inspired. I looked as Smoggy showed Rahool the engram. "Let's try that again." He put Rahool back down. The cryptarch quickly began to decrypt the engram. He turned around to present a legendary chest plate. "I'm afraid that is not good enough." Smoggy looked in Rahool's eyes. He was trembling being in the sight of the legend himself. He turned around and worked on the legendary armor. When he finished he turned around trembling. "That...that's...all I can do." Smoggy looked at Rahool. Rahool handed him an exotic chest plate. Smoggy looked approvingly at it. He turned around and faced me. He walked toward me. Every step striking fear into my heart. He held out his hand. "This is yours." He handed me my exotic chest plate. As I put it on in could feel it's power coursing through me. Smoggy then chuckled looking at the weapon strapped on my back. "A No Land Beyond. Haven't gotten one of those in awhile." I looked shamefully as I realized I had made a fool of myself. This weapon was an abarrassment in front of this legend. He touched my shoulder and I felt myself falling backwards. Smoggy held me up. I looked in my inventory. There it was, Gjallerhorn. I had a Gjallerhorn! My No Land Beyond was gone. I look back to find Smoggy holding a No Land Beyond. He admired it. Turning it in his hands. Smoggy's lighting shining off his armor. "This should do quite well." I looked in shock as he walked over to my vault and touch it. I saw a glow around it. Smoggy's light dimmed as he poured power into the vault. When he finished he nodded his head at me slowly gesturing over to the vault. I walked over to the vault slowly. I opened it only to find it filled with maxed out raid gear! Almost all the great exotic weapons including another Gjallerhorn! I put the new armor on. And saw my light increase. I whispered to myself. "Finally 32." I looked back toward the Traveler. Smoggy glided toward it. I called out to him. "How did you do this?" He laughed and smiled. "I became legend. The game is ours to change and ours alone. Break the boundaries young guardian, and become legend!" I saw him disappear as another crack of lighting flew across the sky. I stared into the abyss, watching the clouds dissipate. The sun reappeared and I held my head up high. "Smoggy became legend.
