Slippery slope arguments state that a relatively small first step leads to a chain of related events culminating in some significant effect.
Now, in the article, it also states that if a reasonable warrant can be provided, that the argument is not a Slippery Slope. Be that as it may, I do not believe that there is enough evidence for "Pay to Win" being incorporated in Destiny's Future.
Without reasonable evidence, this is simply "fear mongering" meant to appeal to the Destiny community's fear. It's stoking the flames under Bungie for a problem which doesn't exist and will not likely ever exist.
So can we agree that people paying money to bust a move in Destiny isn't worth getting emotionally distraught over?

but I need to show off my swag m8. this is a pay to win bruh. swag battles will never be the same ... Reefwars part 2 mother flower...

Yeah, so many people think pay-to-win is some kind of inevitability, when in reality, tons of games use micro transactions for cosmetics and nothing else. Bungie knows that the massive loss of fans over moving to a pay-to-win model would far outweigh any extra profits gained from it. Chill guys.

Their willingness to cut content and sell it back to us as DLC speaks volumes in regards to what they are capable of. In time we will see, but if you think a company that *HAS* sold us back on disc content as DLC is incapable of selling items such as gear or boosters to increase its profit margins then you are deluding yourself.
