So...everybody is up in arms over the shader/dance move microtransactions...
1. To those saying that content is being locked behind a paywall, do you consider a dance move or a shader to be content? They specifically said it won't be missions, or loot or quests available for purchase. A sparrow skin will not affect your DPS on Oryx, and a dance move will not up your armor in Trials.
2. Instead of buying a pack, with 5 dances for 20 bucks, or 3 sparrow skins for 10 bucks for example, you can pick and choose. If you like one and dislike the others, you are not required to purchase all of them.
3. While I am apprehensive to agree that these transactions will benefit future "free" quests and content, they outright said that missions and quests will not be locked behind a pay wall, so our only outlook is pessimistically positive.
4. When it really comes down to it, Destiny 2 is coming out in a year...the way everything changed with TTK, will most likely change all over again in a year. Enjoy the game we have, while we still have it.
TL;DR: Dance moves, shaders, sparrow skins are cool, but won't affect gameplay for anyone who bought taken king. If they actually help future content, great. If not, oh well. I enjoy what I have now, if they offer some icing on top, maybe I'll partake.
