Microtransactions in destiny isn't bad. (Read why + free content!)
This isn't bad & I think players are taking this way out of proportion. Let's look at it like this, all these emotes are cosmetic which means they have no real impact on gameplay other then a silly little dance or somthing like that, if they don't affect gameplay then it isn't bad.
Let's look at the other outcome, if kotakus article is to belived (may be polygon but it's one of them), it's belived that rather then having DLC packs like TDB & HoW that Bungie is going to release new story content, strikes, raids, ect. Over the next year until the next destiny game is set to launch which means new content on a regular basis. If buying cosmetic emotes & shaders, ect. Help to fund this kind of stuff for a game I love then l don't see a problem in it and I'm the type of person who hates them in most games (AC unity I'm looking at you..).
But bungie. Please don't lock content behind just this, do NOT unlock the ability to purchase weapons or armor, cosmetic items are a step in the right direction and if you guys make it so this new currency "silver" is able to be earned during strikes (low drop rate of course) then that would be awesome.
This is just my oppinion.
