agreed, the book of sorrows so far is one of the most interesting story points of the game.
it is now one of my go to points when people say things such as "destiny has no story"
however, the actual story telling is horrible, dark souls does it better if that tells you anything. they could do a much better job at actually relaying the huge amounts of back story to people to be sure.

Destiny has no story. Reading something that doesn't apply in game is useless

Edited by Mar: 10/6/2015 2:37:03 AMno, the back story of a entire enemy race, their over all goal, purpose, and general reasons for doing the things they are doing in game and why they are there in the 1st place has nothing to do with the game... your right... it definitely doesn't apply in game when it talks about who the raid boss is and why you are fighting him.

The part you are missing is that we get no in game back story and are forced to read some bs to understand. I didn't pay for this game so I can read (not that I'm illiterate) but I buy games so I can play a story

did you not read where i said they story telling is horrible? that is why i said that... just because the story is told in possibly the worst way ever doesn't mean its not there... also technically you playing the game is its story, as lame as that is. the whole "become legend" thing they are going for and all... yeah i know its presented in possibly the worst way they could have done it... but it is there.
