As a daily and dedicated player fanboy neckbeard tryhard, I must say that some of the changes from this new patch is disturbing. Aside from the issues already very apparent in weapon balancing (hoping it is balanced for max level and we're just seeing an odd scaling), the largest concern from an enjoyment and play-ability factor is the removal of the solar wind scorch effect on fellow fireteam members.
To further my claim that this should be reinstated I should point out several factors.
1) This is purely a cosmetic removal of a mechanism within a game that did not actually hinder anything with negative effects. I don't know of any "cheese" methods that are currently able to be done (and, hey, maybe there is one somewhere still not deactivated) that allowed you to ultimately win the game.
2) Fireteam laughs, giggles, and camaraderie is what has mainly been affected. The effect of not being able to push my fellow fireteam members, or them push me, off cliffs when they aren't looking or paying attention has negatively impacted the morale within our late-night groups. Slide kicks aren't nearly as effective of a push! Yes yes, some may say that the titan shoulder charge is still very effective, but for someone who favors their warlock, such talk is blaspheme.
3) Now we are simply limited. Limited to ramming one another with our sparrows into rocks. This isn't even accessible in most areas!
So I appeal to you Bungie, please reinstate being able to use solar winds against our fellow fireteam members in order to facilitate better organizational cohesion and morale.
Fellow guardians, please bump this and make it worth of the bungienation to reinstate it.
Help me fellow guardians, you're my only hope.

You just like pushing me off a cliff while changing weapons. No thank you. I don't mind to much when it is friends and they own up to it. I'll have fun later, when you least expect it. At your expense, of course.
