Probably my third or fourth post on this topic but since we are coming up on iron banner I though it would be a good time to share. I currently have 192 legendary marks. If I want to save them for iron banner I am going to have to start using them on things I don't want or I'll be earning marks pointlessly. Infusion isn't helping since I'm in the slow 290-300 grind and both weapon and armor parts can't keep up. This doesn't even get into how we have no idea if iron banners increased drop rate will e reasonable. Considering bungie's history it won't be enough and by the time I'm rank 5 with all 3 characters I doubt I'll have everything. I'll also be stuck without things to spend marks on until I've ranked up wasting more marks. I dot need 280 vendor gear so please allow me to save more marks for iron banner with a higher cap of 300 or 400. At least glimmer didn't seem like a massive waste if you're at the cap whereas marks are. With this add a planetary materials exchange for weapon parts and armor materials. I have over 1000 spirit bloom and nothing to do with it and not enough armor materials to keep up with infusion.
