Short version - Destiny loads up until the "preparing content" black screen and then closes, showing the message "Problem reading game content". It tells me to restart the application and to check my system to download the latest update, which I have already done. I have tried rebuilding my database and doing an initlialization on my PS4, deleting everything and redownloading Destiny and it's updates - nothing works.
Long version - Destiny has been crashing every day for the last week after I play for a couple hours. I would only be able to start my PS4 after a couple of system checks. I tried to reinstall Playstation update 3.0 via a USB due to prompts from the playstation but my playstation was unable to use the file. After a few days of this, my playstation would not even start after many attempts. I had to turn it on via the safe mode and I then tried rebuilding my database - still could not turn it on. Doing an initilization allowed my playstation to finally turn on but I had to a full initilization after and delete every single bit of data I had to be able to sign into psn. After deleting everything, I redownloaded destiny, but as soon as I got to the screen after the start, it would freeze and then show the message "problem reading game content".
I am currently redownloading destiny once again, it seems like everything on my playstation, including party chat, functions correctly. The only problem I have is with Destiny; I am not able to start the game at all without it showing the error mentioned above. Any prior experience with this problem or any help would be appreciated.

Exact same thing happens to me on my PS3, I reinstalled the game once and still the same. I wonder if this is related to The Taken King update, and I don't have The Taken King but the other two DLCs.

Edited by STC: 10/24/2015 1:50:48 PMI'm having the same problem with mine. I've uninstalled and re-downloaded the game and all updates 3 times with no avail. This only started happening after the 3.10 update it seems like Bungie doesn't have any kind of fix or are even trying to work on fix.

Sounds like your PS needs to go back to Sony.
