The servitors are mini travelers, but the traveler is not a big servitor
Isn't that a paradox?
A child is a small man but a man is not a big child?

Well isn't it the same with squares and rectangles? And your definition of paradox is screwed up
Well isn't it the same with squares and rectangles? And your definition of paradox is screwed up
Well, yes and no. I think what we are quibbling over is whether we mean "same features, just smaller scale" vs "same core features, plus or minus a lot more" A man is more than a large child, in that he is also smarter. The paradox is when we switch between definitions mid way. If a 5 foot square is just a larger 3 foor square, nothing changed but scale, it would be a paradox to say that yet the original 3 foot square is more than just a smaller version of that 5 foot square, since we already said they were the same before but now we are saying they are different. But I think what you meant is that the traveller fits in the servator category, yet has so many more features on top of that. Which is a good point, the traveler could teraform and our ghosts do not. But is that just a matter of scale? Did it just transmat materials around the same way our ghosts bring us I not out ships?

Without going into the definition of paradox, let me just tell you where your logic is flawed. After the Traveler (Alpha Lupi) left the Fallen, they well, fell. They needed Ether to keep them going, but since Lupi was gone, they ran out. So they created Servitors to make ether and keep them alive. So the Servitors are crappy, smaller, shitty versions of the Traveler, that were made after the Traveler. So while you could call the Servitors mini travelers, you couldn't call Alpha Lupi a big servitor

Ah. See, I haven't read much of the grimoire or finished the TTK story (college is slowing me down :P) so I was still in year 1 where they hadn't told me any of these things. I assumed the servitors were essentially medium size ghosts that remained loyal to the fallen.
