IMO, they should be. As funny as Cayde-6 was in this DLC, it just bothers me that they gave his performance to a robot :/
I refuse to play as an exo because I don't agree with how they incorporated them. According to the tooltip in the character creation page, they were ancient programs designed for war. YOU. DO. [i]NOT.[/i] MAKE. WAR. MACHINES. SENTIENT.

You could always argue the Traveler did, or more specifically Ghost upon revival. But huh interesting. Personally I like robots w sentience, but it was neat to read your thoughts.
