Hello, fellow guardians! I have noticed that my thread has gone down in popularity and has stayed down due to my inactivity. And I would like to say I'm sorry for not being active! Games have come out that I have been very interested in (FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT), so I've resorted to playing those day and night, forgetting about my wonderful thread, and honestly, Destiny altogether.
While taking time off of Destiny, I've realized that it's no good to play due to Bungie's current obsession with PVP (likely due to Activision). I, for one, despise the introduction of PVP to Destiny. This game should not have been made that way. I feel like Activision ruined it for that reason, among many others, but the gaming experience was an overall amazing one.
I got to know some good friends I have online now and I have come to know a completely new style of game altogether. I am not usually playing games in the likes of Destiny, I'm mostly into solid RPG's and horror. But, besides that, Destiny has been a great experience and I love that I got to converse with you all! I'm so glad to see the community is still thriving, and who knows, maybe I'll be back for the second game, but right now it doesn't look too promising with the first still in motion.

3 RepliesRNG has been very good to me. I don't get everything out there, but managed to get a good percentage of what I WANT. Here are some highlights: 1) hawkmoon drops on year 1. 2) got VOC and Fang of Ir Yut. Not immediately, but eventually. 3) got mask of third man from legendary engram. And all other hunter helms from drops. 4) got kapris sting and don't touch me from xur engram, first and second try (was aiming for both in my mind). 5) got the ram on my first try from xur engram (was also aiming for it in my mind). 6) in TTK, while I was grinding for legendary mark to buy 1 legendary piece of armor, I got all five legendary armor from drops. Get to spend my marks elsewhere. 7) I erased all my characters pre TTK with all my stuff (did it as an impulse). Came back to the game later and managed to get to level 33 in 3 days. Many due to lucky legendary drops and xur. 8) I lost my thorn from deleting my character (see 7), but got the thorn bounty literally 1/2 hr before V.02 reset. Free completion. Got it back. 9) also lost the lord of wolves from deleting my character, but blueprint mysteriously shown up in my exotic weapon kiosk. 10) POST TTK, want the MIDA back badly (was a mida/dance machine guy). Got it on my 2nd legacy engram gamble. (Got red death on the first try, which is the second I want back). 11) got the hopscotch during the early days of HOW, before everyone knows how great it was (And lucky my friend told me before I shared it haha). 12) lost the hopscotch when deleted my character, but got a blue pulse DEAD AIR that is a poor man's HSP, and that gun wrecks just as well. Still use it. The list goes on. No, I'm NOT one of those beginners who gets crazy lucky. And no G-Horn from drops (eventually xurned it, haha). But some things in life I'll never get, and I made due with what I have. And what I have ain't that bad.
