Bungie, I have an idea, and I'm kind of calling on your empathy here. You see, every Destiny fan, veteran or not, has that one weapon that won their heart the very first time that they used it. For many it was Gjallarhorn, for my best friend it was "Devil You Don't", for my brother it was "Jewel of Osiris", etc. Alas, these guns are now useless everywhere but the crucible. Such is the story for me and my beloved "Heaven Can Wait" hand cannon. That gun means more than every other gun I have and it's only a modest 148 damage/light. I still carry it everywhere with me and you can bet it'll always be locked and in my inventory waiting to be used. However that day may only come once in a blue moon due to the fact that my other things are 160's-170's. So I suggest a possible solution to this problem. Xur. Let him be your savior. Grant Xur the ability to sell a legendary or exotic type of upgrade that raises a weapon's damage to Year 2 status. I know it can work due to the sparrow upgrades and the whole "Husk of the Pit" upgrade line. While I know my little hand cannon isn't worth the time all the other players can at least benefit from this. For example, my brother was heartbroken when he "sharded" all of his exotics yesterday. He had every exotic weapon and armor but one. Now he has 3 exotics total. He's devastated Bungie. We all are. Please help us. (Just saying, if you could let me upgrade my Heaven Can Wait you'll win my loyalty for life)
