Either:
A. They are born or Genetically rewritten to be attracted to the same sex, thus being counterproductive to nature and all natural processes.
Or
B. They choose to be that way and promote the 'Sex Magic' that it is, thus purposely opposing natural processes and Nature, similar to Cannibalism .

Mental
-
I'm pretty mentally unhinged, and I'm gay... I'm starting to see people's point I'm detecting the pattern My god
-
It's really somewhere between both of them. Identical twins are more likely to share the same sexual orientation, but not guaranteed.
-
-
Neither
-
I'd say the people who show them so much hatred and intolerance are the ones with a mental disorder.
-
Its nasty and unnatural and they need help
-
Neither. It's 100% natural. Every single animal species on the planet has gay "members", if they're all doing it, it's natural.
-
I wouldn't say "mental disorder"....
-
Some animals can have gay relationships to pleasure themselfs. So its nothing wrong with it i guess.
-
Why so negative
-
Neither. In the DSM V they arent listed as mental disorders and its definitely not a choice. Who would choose to be gay in countries where its punishable by death?
-
No. People like to get their rocks off. I'm not homosexual but I know if societal pressures were different there would be no significance as to who or what you gotta rub on to get a nut.
-
Biased
-
Gay, normal Bi, normal Trans, mental disorder Etc, depends

Edited by Masque of Night: 10/8/2015 3:20:07 AMI can't say I recall a point where I was given a choice as to what gets me off. I mean I always have the choice to embrace it or reject it, of course, but that doesn't nullify the fact i'm naturally inclined towards certain things. But, you know, one testimony doesn't dictate fact. Just throwing in my perspective is all.

Not that anybody cares about Canadian political but a member of the Conservative party of Canada was just removed from his position for saying that it was a choice and that it could be fixed

Edited by NaCl: 10/4/2015 11:26:07 PM"On a personal level, being misogynist, ableist, homophobic, etc. is not just about feeling hatred for marginalised groups. Hatred is a symptom, and not everyone has that symptom. Sometimes it’s pity. Or creepy dehumanising fascination. Or indifference. Or ignorance and a self-absorbed refusal to learn to be better. But it’s not about your feelings at all - it’s about actions and whether your actions support an oppressive system. That’s why you can’t say, “I’m not misogynist! I love women!” and have people go, “well, you know your feelings best!” It’s not about your feelings. It’s about what you’re doing and if it’s harmful. And you do not get to decide if you’re harming others." On another note: “The “born this way” narrative supports a structure of cisgender and heterosexual supremacy that does real harm to queer people. It maintains the idea that the world would be better if we were all cisgender, heterosexual, gender conforming, monogamous, etc. Our difference is only begrudgingly acceptable because it cannot be helped.” -So What If I Wasn’t Born This Way Plus: "You telling gay people not to get married because it goes against your beliefs is as ridiculous as a Muslim or Jew making it illegal for you to eat bacon because it goes against theirs." And: "Homosexuality does exist in almost all social species." Finally: "Heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, it doesn’t really and truly matter does it? These are just ideas and concepts, a collection of thoughts; an identity, a limitation. These things are only relatively true. If you have an idea of who you are and even if everyone you come into contact with agrees with you that you are this thing, this label, it doesn’t mean that is who you truly are. Try to truly get to the bottom of who you are. Your sexual identity is something that you have added to you; it isn’t you. Any identity, idea or concept that you add to you isn’t you. Just simply try and find you."
-
Neither. It's just how some people are born. People need to deal with it instead of berating them and trying to make them be something they are not. It doesn't hurt anyone else.
-
Definitely not a mental disorder or a choice but just the sexuality they're born with. There is nothing wrong with liking the same gender as yourself.
-
It's been proven already that homosexuality can be dictated from birth since there are recordings of animals having gay sex. I would argue however that gender dysphoria is by all means a mental disorder. It's comparable to Body Integrity Identity Disorder, which you guys should research. This means you, Mad Max.
-
i think it's a choice which you have in the earliest life stages. I just don't get why anyone would decide to be something else then hetero and the gender they are given... I mean you can be what you want who the hell am i to judge you but even if i am an atheist in the bible are Adam and Eva..there is probably a reason why there isn't Adam and Adam or Eva and Eva...just saying tho
-
Some animals have same gender sex... Is that considered natural?
-
Well I know someone with a gay mum and a gay dad... He is heterosexual. Case closed.
