I have sort some legal advice as to this and it's currently being assessed. There is possibility it will go further as the solicitor and now barrister reviewing what I put forward believe I may have a strong case.
Since the latest 'Taken King' update, that I have not purchased. I am unable to play the game 'Destiny' as previously purchased.
When originally purchased, the price paid advertised a game that no longer exists. The latest forced update has not been an optional add on as such but is required to play most aspects of the game originally purchased. When I paid for destiny originally I paid for a game that had a number of gaming options such as the crucible, weekly and daily challenges and free roam.
The latest forced update has not been an add on as such but actually took away most of the original game that I paid for. I can no longer play most of the games originally offered game types. Unless of course I pay to play the latest update release.
I do not wish to play the newest release 'Taken King'. I do wish to play the game I paid for as originally purchased.
Are Bungie planning on any patches/updates/rollbacks to allow players that have not purchased the Taken King to play the game they had already paid for and was taken away? If not do Bungie have any plans on compensation for the % amount of game removed from what a player has previously paid for?

You can still do patroll, crucible and one strike playlist. I agree bungie has made the game extremely limited to people without TTK but your best hope is to look at the software agreements you had to agree to when first logging in. Definitely file a class action if you find something to go on but i highly doubt that bungies legal advisors would not have left you anything to go on
