Using one three of coins verses using multiple.
Now I know I'm behind here and I am aware of the time limit to keep us from spamming the bosses and am fine with it but I need to know one thing. What is the difference between using one and using multiple at once? I am of the impression that the "stackable" effect is when you use one and it does NOT give anything you get a bigger bonus next time but a friend of mine swears that multiple stack at one time. Which is it?

10 RepliesDon't use multiple at once. The way that they stack (from official Bungie post) is that if you fail to get a drop, you get a higher chance next time you use one Don't bother trying to convince your friend. Let him continue to waste them

The stacking is cumulative. To be honest even with the nerf ive found that the drop rate is still good for farming compared to strikes but maybe my RNG was lucky for one method but not the other.

I've used them one at a time. Doing patrols, strikes etc. I've used ~15 I've gotten ~5 Exotics.

I bought 75 and am down to 17 or something like that. I've used them one at a time and I've stacked them. I've received 2 exotic drops and that's it. 2 of which were for a Titan and hunter (I'm a warlock)
