White Nail and Weak Minds
I find it funny that most people whined and complained and said they'd never use Black Hammer again after they tweak the White Nail perk. Now that the Black Spindle is out there those same people are going out of their way to get the exact same gun they criticised. The only difference between the guns other than the obvious damage difference is now you're wasting an exotic slot. People in this game flip flop worse than politicians. Another fine example is people who exclaimed how they couldn't wait for Thorn and Last Word to get nerfed into the ground are now the same people who complain that the year 2 version of Last Word is useless.

Just replace it... but with the expansion, impact really makes a difference, and it's got damn near to the highest impact available for a sniper rifle. Not to mention that squishy slam when you shoot it...me gusta.

3 RepliesLol. I'm finding it quite entertaining. I stopped using last word before 2.0 due to the first range nerf and preferred thorn and hawkmoon. Both still wreck and I have the same problem I had before with last word. I'm a scout handcannon guy so it just doesn't have the range. I was one of those that didn't see the point of black hammer with white nail changed as my spray and play snipers were stronger against all but hive. Haven't found a ttk sniper I prefer yet so no opinion on black spindle but I don't use it. Been rocking fusions since release mostly

Spindle has the most impact out of all the snipers. I'm fairly certain.

2 RepliesI have it and I infuse it to my legendary sniper... the exotic BH is useless to me and I bough the blueprint to infuse it to my other weapon. Again that gun is useless after the nerf and I don't use it.

On ogre you can do close to 1000000 damage with 1 bubble with weapons and void bow. You do around 130000 damage per shot and never have to reload. With the strat of only using 1 bubble per round you can kill ogre in 3 rounds. Also with war priest you can almost kill him in 2 rounds. Generally you kill him shortly into the 3rd round. Every weapon has its place and time in the game you just have to be smart and skilled enough to know when to use it.

A lot of people also complained about the ghallarhorn nerf. Things change. Namely: 1) black hammer was nerfed because they claimed it was exotic quality in a legendary, but they couldn't just remove the gun 2) black hammer is no longer viable as it is not year 2 values So they give you a strong sniper black hammer style with year two values

I'll keep my existing snipers. I used it for infusion. With new gear and weapons. The white nail perk is pointless.

3 RepliesEdited by The 7th fall: 10/1/2015 10:24:19 PMThe only reason I used it was due to the fact I lacked proper snipers for the Warpriest, golgoroth, the daughter's of Oryx, and Oryx himself. Though now I got one of each elemental sniper, and my treasured PvE sniper has Life Support, Firefly and Perfect Balance with good scopes. Way better than the shadow of the Black Hammer.
