Is anyone else finding that this is becoming a plague? I have played since beta and I never remember having issues with people dropping out of games like they do now. It's ridiculous. Unless I have a premade team I will not finish a heroic strike with the same people. Someone either drops out or just sits at the beginning the whole time and if I'm lucky will only move a little when threatened to report. I have to slog through the strike either by myself or with one other person if I'm lucky, and a replacement doesn't come in til the boss if they come at all.
That seems to support the practice or quitting and rejoining as why waste time going through the strike if you can just join someone at the end?
Multiplayer is just as bad. I'm wondering if it's because of the daily stuff people just join and then walk away. The teams are rarely full and if they are there are usually several people just sitting there waiting to be killed. It's really ruining the experience.
I hope Bungie reads this and tries to figure out what to do to remedy this. It's creating a really toxic environment. Some people that I've played with before who I thought were pretty cool are now resorting to AFKing during strikes because they are tired of carrying people and having to do all the work. I haven't done that but it's getting harder and harder to blame them. It's turning into a vicious cycle.
I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Any ideas of how to make it better?
