Bungie hasn't nerfed a class yet, it's not op as much as its new. Titan bubble for instance, when the game came out I would get 3-5 kills in bubbles because they thought they could kill me easily inside. Now people group up and shotgun from multiple sides and instantly me with armor if light. It just takes a different tactic is all. I killed a hammer titan yesterday with a pulse rifle it's all about those headshots and jumping away
