Hey guys,
Pardon the speculation/rumor kind of question, but word has it that Bungie has its own edition of DIM (so to say) in the works. One part of it allows you to transfer an item directly from one character to another (according to http://i.imgur.com/VB22lI1.png ).
My question is whether new API endpoints are going to be added to allow direct character <-> character transfers or it will do it through existing ones (ie character -> vault -> character)?
TIA

This would be the logical evolution of item management (both the rumours and what the apis are capable of), including (I hope) eventually allowing for interacting with vendors through an API. From an external point of view, there's no reason why an item has to pass through your inventory before arriving on another character, but its quite likely there was a reason why this happened and there may be technical hurtles before it is realized. It would obviously cut requests in half (since you can only transfer one item every second), but what would be even better is to also have a transfer in bulk "TransferItems" endpoint, much like the "EquipItems" one.
