Compared to Hunters, Titans that run Sunbreaker all day need therapy. Hunters have an instant killing, flaming gun that runs out at 3 shots (4 if specific helmet is on). Titans? Well.... They get UNLIMITED ROCKETS FOR HAMMERS for 20 FULL SECONDS!
And Titans are making fun of both Hunters and Warlocks because of it!? You f ucking Titans need to realize Warlocks AND Hunters are the most balanced out classes IN THE GAME! But you Titans still act like we're the bad guys, calling you out about how OVER POWERED your super is. I don't even see you guys using Striker or Defender anymore. What's the point of having other subclasses when one is being used!?
As a Warlock DEFENDING Hunters and other Warlocks alike, you need to be the ones to grow up and know that your subclass is too powerful for these gametypes, ESPECIALLY Mayhem.
Time to grow up Titans!

All you need to do is count how many Titans are on your team at on the load screen and you'll know if you'll will or not. Lol
-
Only read your first sentence and started laughing. It's the same as a bladedancer. I main as a warlock and I think the Sunbreaker is just fine the way it is. Nobody should be obliterated out of a super, it's a Damn super.

"Unlimited" hammers. I LOLd
Originally posted by mongrelsagdow14:
Honestly got tired of the complaint threads so I decided to take 2 friends into rumble to test. I first tested the defense both with max armor and with the extra armor you can get with a certain chest piece when using a solar based subclass. results: I had 2 snipers used. stillpeircer and black spindle. still has impact of 31 which covers 1000 yard stare and LDR. black spindle has 37 which covers black hammer and eferdeets spear. the 004 sniper was not used but has an impact of 34. snipers were used at point blank so no damage drop off was present. With max armor the 31 impact snipers leave me with a tiny sliver of health. which means the 34 impact sniper and 37 impact snipers will one shot me. With additional armor the 37 sniper one shot me. which means 3 snipers can currently one shot headshot the sunbreaker when they have the most armor possible. the 34 might be able to do it. and any sniper with a damage proc including the 31 snipers will be able to one shot. Next I tested golden gun. The result was the same both times. Point blank a golden gun will not one shot the sunbreaker. but they both leave you with a sliver of health. so if the sunbreaker has literally taken any damage at all and gets hit by golden gun they will die. It's important to note that you have to fully spec into armor in order to live from golden gun. If you don't take max armor golden gun will one shot you. Lastly I tested the damage of the hammer on direct impacts. To confirm my idea that it has the same damage model of arc blade swipes. When running max armor on blade dancer with the extra armor you take 2 hammers to kill. you're left with half of your red health bar. then I tested it against a person with max armor on storm trance but no extra armor and got the same result. to me this means it's got the same damage of the arc blade melee. If hammer of sol does any extra damage at all its so small that it's not going to matter in 90% of situations. Conclusion: the sunbreaker mid super naturally has a slight armor advantage. and it's honestly so slight it doesn't matter in my opinion. you have potentially 4 snipers with out any special perk roll that can one shot head shot. and if you are using golden gun all you have to do is hit them with anything like a nade or knife and then golden gun and they are dead. I understand people don't like that the sunbreaker can even survive it at all. However they are the tank class and all titan sub classes can tank a golden gun. so it's consistent. and hammer of sol has average damage. needing 2 hammers to kill a majority of people mid super. of course if the target has low armor it's a one hit. But everyone is always telling me max armor is the way to go in crucible. so if you aren't running it you willingly accept the concequences. end of story. I didn't test all sub classes on damage with the hammer because the 2 I did test with different situations yielded the same results. Though if someone proves me wrong with footage and explains the situation i'll retract my statement. I also didn't test sword swings or rockets. Simply because anyone mid super (bar golden gun and radiance with no radiant skin) can tank 2 sword swings and if any of the subclasses (bar the same 2) spec for max armor can survive a rocket. simply put it's not a new thing. armor always protected you from rockets and now from 2 burst deaths. and the swords follow the same damage model as arc blade does. Hopefully this thread gets around and people stop complaining about how tanky they are or how stupid strong hammer damage is. EDIT: I completely forgot to mention the shotgun testing done. I managed to survive a conspiracy D headshot at point blank when I had the max armor+ the additional armor from the chest piece. with out the additional armor from the chest piece I die. So High impact shotguns will one shot sunbreakers if they are headshots 90% of the time.
Please don't try to balance the game around mayhem playlist...

How old are you? You're less mature than I was in elementary school. You want people to back and support you? Have some class for Christ's sake.
-
Cry baby hunters give me those tears. That's what happens for using blink lol
-
Because having 2 worst pvp supers in the game is more op than hunters and warlocks

Was looking for satire somewhere in it, couldn't find it. So you are just a sore loser. In the words of the internet: git gud.

Yeah Titans are unbalanced in the sense that the super is good, but all of the other aspects of the subclass are kinda sub-par. Honestly warlocks are the most balanced in my opinion. One example I can think of is the subsided warlock and how it's super is decent in most situations, but the melee range and grenades are good. Hunters arch blade and golden gun are good as well.

Edited by Doctor Electric: 10/2/2015 2:21:31 AMNow I would go spewing facts and evidence out for everyone, but that would be pointless because of the "If I can't kill it with <Insert Golden Gun/Arc Blade/ OHK Sniper reference here>, it's OP" mentality. I will, however, go about mentioning that a Striker is meant to get up close and personal to deal out massive amounts of damage in a game run by weapons that dictate if you live or die for trying to get up close (Shotguns and now Swords) and Defender...lets just not talk about that one in the PVP field, only good for holding down heavy ammo for the team.
-
actually the max we can throw is 7 so yeah
-
We don't get unlimited hammers for 20 seconds...
-
The max we can throw is about 8 but we have to keep pressing R2 (On ps4)
-
Balanced really, you may have just picked up destiny but hunters and warlocks are far from balanced keep the fight going though, i hope bungie gives titans a chance for a year because that's how long everyone else were op and titans never dedicated forums to it good luck with your fight dude
-
It's a glitch after enough people put videos of it up bungee will fix it.
-
I don't think it's that overpowered, but nerfs are necessary for the super.
-
Yeah because y1 fist of panic, golden gun and nova bomb were balanced in the crucible.
-
So it is okay that hunters and warlocks had better subclasses all year, but when titans get a good subclass...hunters and warlocks complain the week of release.
-
Titans if you check the stats have the least amount of super kills n such
-
Bitch and whine bitch and whine crybaby got his ass whooped in pvp by a titan.

Kids in Africa are running out of water. You should collect your tears in a bottle and donate it.

Hmm I think the one who needs to grow up is u Time to grow up Titans!
